I must say the officers behavior pleased me and sadly surprised me too. Note also, the abuser is the one that called the cops. In today’s world there should be so much more awareness and preparedness than there is, especially in the legal system. This officer could see the truth, unfortunately the woman, now dead, was still asleep. When we are asleep we are unable to acknolweldge the truth of our situation fully…and we are too afraid to Stand up, and as a result, we never get to Live free.
You don’t have to be an emotional hostage, or a physical one.
Wake Up. Stand Up. Live Free.
I am sorry for this woman, and all who loved her and her child.
